How the App handles information

This policy covers the Android application IGRS Diary: Case & Report, package com.lekhpaldiary.app.

Quick summary: Core records stay on the device unless the user intentionally selects an export, share, print, backup, browser or external-service action.

1. Privacy at a glance

IGRS Diary: Case & Report is designed as an offline-first case, task, document, report and field-work record-management app. Core records are stored locally on the user's device. The current App does not require an account, developer-operated cloud sync, advertising SDK or analytics SDK for its core workflow.

2. Information handled by the App

The App may handle profile preferences; case records such as reference numbers, names, subjects, phone numbers, addresses, village/area, dates, priority, status, notes and history; tasks and reminders; user-selected or captured documents, photos, scans and PDFs; GPS-photo coordinates, accuracy, place label and capture time; and report text, drafts and exports.

3. How information is provided

Information is handled when the user types it, captures a photo or scan, selects a gallery/file item, requests GPS-photo capture, starts voice input, imports a web document, or chooses a local backup. The App does not silently create case records or upload user content to a publisher-operated server.

4. Permissions

Camera access supports case photos, scans and GPS photos. Location access is used only for user-started GPS-photo features. Microphone access is used only when the user starts speech-to-text. Photo and file access supports user-selected documents. Notifications, exact alarms and boot-completed access support local reminders. A permission may be refused, but its related feature may not work.

5. Local storage, retention and deletion

Core data is stored in App-local storage and database. Imported or captured files may be copied into local App or download storage. Records remain until the user deletes them, clears App data, uninstalls the App, resets the device or restores/replaces data. Uninstalling or clearing App data may permanently remove local records.

6. Backups

The App can create a portable local JSON backup. A backup may include case and selected metadata but may not be an encrypted full-file archive and may not contain every original photo, attachment, task or report file. Users should protect backups and preserve important originals separately.

7. Sharing, export, printing and web links

When the user chooses Share, Export, Save, Open, Print or a web-link feature, selected content may be sent to an Android share target, printer, browser, file manager, storage provider or other destination chosen by the user. External destinations apply their own privacy policies. The user must verify the recipient and ensure that disclosure is lawful.

8. GPS photos and location

GPS-photo features can obtain coordinates, accuracy, capture time, approximate place information and an inspection note. Selected details may be stamped on an image and saved in metadata. GPS information may be inaccurate, delayed, unavailable or affected by device, network, satellite reception and settings.

9. Voice input and device services

When the user activates voice input, device speech-recognition services may process audio and return editable text. Geocoding, printing, file selection, browser and sharing functions may also use operating-system or third-party services. Their availability, network use and privacy terms are controlled by those providers.

10. Security and user choices

The App uses local storage and Android permission controls. Android automatic backup and cleartext traffic are disabled in the current configuration. No system is completely secure. Users should protect their device, backups, exports and lock-screen notifications and can manage permissions through device settings.

11. Children

The App is intended for adult professional or personal productivity use and is not directed to children. Do not enter information about children or vulnerable people unless legally authorized and appropriate safeguards are in place.
